What's the difference between the MobiFrame Gen 1 and Gen 2 Transit Swivels? 

The Gen 1 design has a less ergonomic handle, a smaller hole for wiring and the pivot point is not offset.  On the plus side, the older generation swivels are substantially thinner than the Gen 2 model; a difference of ~0.5".
